My name is Norbert Montag, I live in Saarbrücken, Germany and my hobby and passion is the time of the American Civil War.

I am specially interested in the period between 1861 and 1865, when Colonel Henry Marshall Elmore was commander of the 20th Texas Volunteers.

With my wife Renate I go to historical balls, where the cloth and the etiquettes are similar to this time. We visit these balls as Colonel Elmore and his wife Elisabeth.

While joining these balls and events I feel like I am back in the time of officers and gentleman and I also live it. With this website I am looking for officers, who share this passion with me and also like to go to events and balls of this time.
